Vintage Postcards
DJ searched far and wide for these postcards (Ebay), and we like that they provide a glimpse into Salisbury’s history. The main Bendit house sits on Washinee Lake, in Salisbury (aka Taconic), CT. Across the street is the former site of Camp Everett, a coed summer camp that operated for several decades on the property.
The wedding will take place at the property, which is located on the traditional homeland of the Mohican and Schaghticoke peoples. For more information on the native history of the region, click here or here.
